My hope is to encourage families on their educational journey because it’s difficult and everyone needs encouragement! No one has it all together. Once you think things are going smoothly, something happens to mess it up!

This is for the new, the old, and those who just need a refreshing boost.

Since the pandemic, many have found themselves on a journey they never even considered. Schooling your child looks different. In reality, when you have a child you really start teaching them from the day they are born. It’s not just about schoolbooks but life. Most may think of “school” as a place to send their child to be educated. Due to the crazy circumstances we find ourselves in, things have changed. We can make it through together.

Why read this?

• Are you feeling overwhelmed? Do you need encouragement or direction or ideas? Where can you find help?
• My goal is to share things I have learned on my journey of schooling. It wasn’t always one way or the other. We joined others in the journey for the all-important “socialization!”

If I can help even a few, I will feel honored.

Why Blog?

• I am blogging this way because I feel there is a need for some direction for the new people homeschooling.
• I will be writing about what’s important, what to focus on, how to be more successful and not to put yourself down, joining groups, schedules, learning styles and more.
• I will be interviewing others on this journey here and on my podcast.
• If this blog is success throughout the next year, I hope to write a book.
